The Minnesota Vikings improved to 12-3 on the season Saturday as they beat the New York Giants 27-24 in a wire-to-wire win at U.S Bank Stadium.

This team has been nothing short of incredible, delivering yet another win in a one-score game, improving to 11-0 on the season in such games. The offense and defense both had their moments in Saturday’s win, including a Patrick Peterson interception,  as well as a monster game for T.J Hockenson.

Let’s look at how some Vikings performed in the win.

T.J Hockenson – STUD

What a performance for the Pro Bowl tight end! Hockenson ended the day with 13(!) receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns.

Hockenson absolutely gamed the Giants like he was playing Madden as he was consistently getting separation, catching tough 50/50 balls, and providing elite blocking when needed, showing why he was a top-10 pick in 2019. At only 25 years old, adding Hockenson to a young receiving corps that already includes Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn should come as the greatest Christmas gift of all to Vikings fans.
