10. New York Giants

In his first season as head coach, Brian Daboll has clinched a playoff spot for the New York Giants. The G-Men won easily on Sunday, sending the Colts home with a 38-10 defeat.

Daniel Jones, who had an altercation with the coach in Week 1, turned it around and had four total touchdowns in the clinching game. While Jones was on fire, Daboll was the one who got cooled off with a Gatorade bath for the win.

It’s been a remarkable turnaround in just one season. And Daboll said afterward their goal isn’t to simply make the playoffs.

He believes in his team and they believe in him. That could make them a lot of fun to watch in the postseason.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars

Four wins in a row suddenly have the Jacksonville Jaguars at 8-8 and in first place in the AFC South. They currently own a one-game advantage over the 7-9 Tennessee Titans and have a win over them as well. The problem is, Tennessee would have a better overall record in the AFC South should they win next week in Jacksonville.

That means there’s no counting on a tiebreaker, they have to beat their rivals for the second time this season to secure the division. Considering they’ve outscored opponents 50-6 over the past two weeks and the Titans are being praised for not being blown out, it’s safe to say they should be able to pull this one off.
