30. Arizona Cardinals

Things have completely fallen apart this season for the Arizona Cardinals. They’re down to David Blough as their starting quarterback and while he wasn’t terrible on Sunday, they still lost to the Atlanta Falcons 20-19.

That loss dropped them to 4-12 which is their worst output with Kliff Kingsbury as the head coach. In his previous three seasons, he had shown improvement in each campaign which culminated in an 11-6 campaign and a playoff berth in 2021.

Now, there will be questions about his job security in the offseason. That’s a huge drop-off for a team that was expected to make some noise this year.

29. Indianapolis Colts

This past weekend, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported that Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay still believes in Jeff Saturday as a coach, despite his 1-5 start. They said that because of that, he could be in play as the full-time coach in 2023.

"“Irsay remains a big fan of Saturday, 47, who has lost five in a row since the Colts won his debut. Saturday absolutely will be a candidate for the full-time job, and if he can put together the right staff, especially on offense, he shouldn’t be counted out.”"

Other teams in the AFC South surely hope that’s true. As does anyone on the Colts’ schedule next year.

But after those comments were made, Saturday fell to 1-6 as the Colts were embarrassed by the New York Giants. There’s no way anyone in their right mind would bring him back. Well, maybe he’s in play for Indy.
