The Chicago Bears play the Minnesota Vikings in their final game of the 2022 season. They try to end their losing streak and end the season on a positive note.

For the Chicago Bears, the 2022 season is about to mercifully end. They have just one more game to play. They host the Minnesota Vikings this week and hope to end their nine-game losing streak.

Also on the line is Chicago’s eight-game losing streak in the NFC North. If they lose it will be the second time since 2017 they finish winless in the division.

Can the Chicago Bears end their losing streak in Week 18?

The Bears want to end their losing streaks and finish out the season on a positive note. There has been so much frustration and disappointment this season that ending the season with a win would add some hope to the offseason.

Of course, many fans hope the team loses this game. They hold out hope that the Bears end up with the top pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. If the Bears lose and the Houston Texans win, that is exactly what happens. If they win, however, they could end up with the fourth pick. Still a valuable pick, but not as valuable as the top overall pick or the second pick.

The Bears had what could only be considered a pathetic effort against the Detroit Lions last week. After a quick start, they looked like they just quit and Detroit just punished them.

The Bears should want to make up for that effort, both by the players and the coaches. Head coach Matt Eberflus did a great job throughout the season of keeping the players involved and playing hard. That didn’t happen last week, though. Eberflus wants to make sure the players bring back that fire.

Here are things to watch for in the Chicago Bears’ final game of the 2022 season.
