13. New York Jets: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State

At one point, the New York Jets had a shot at making the playoffs, and it seemed as though they would be a shoo-in. However, they completely fell apart and lost six in a row. Their final defeat was in Week 18 as the Miami Dolphins won 11-6.

For second-year head coach Robert Saleh, a win to end the season would have been nice. Instead, he’s going to spend the offseason trying to figure out how to get things corrected.

One major discussion will be what to do with Zach Wilson. He doesn’t have the staff’s confidence and it doesn’t seem likely they will give him another shot. They’re also too far down in the draft to get a rookie that can start.

While that answer will have to come from somewhere else, they can try and shore up their offensive line. This year, injuries decimated the unit and really exposed its depth. They should improve their play just by getting healthy but they need another bookend along with Mekhi Becton, which leads to the selection of Paris Johnson.

One of a few tackles that should start from day one, Johnson would be a step up for the Jets as they aim for more consistency on offense in 2023.
