2023 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys stock up offense, Panthers reach at QB

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: O’Cyrus Torrence, OG, Florida
O’Cyrus Torrence has turned into the best offensive guard in the draft after he followed Billy Napier from Louisiana to Florida. Once in the SEC, Torrence not only continued to hold his own, but he developed into a great all-around guard.
Brandon Thorn of Bleacher Report praises his ability to handle defensive tackles while opening things up in the running game for his offense.
"“Torrence wins using a combination of sheer size, a strong center of gravity and a high-level ability to generate and absorb force in the run and pass game. He is an adept gap run-blocker who excels covering up defensive tackles, resetting the line of scrimmage and creating displacement vertically and laterally on down, base and double-team blocks.” — Thorn, Bleacher Report"
Torrence is also a high-IQ player that will improve the offensive line for whichever team he lands with. Here, he ends up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have a need at guard.
They could also have a need at quarterback with signs pointing to Tom Brady leaving in free agency. Brady brought them a Super Bowl and they’re heading to the playoffs again after winning the NFC South, but it was still a rough season overall and there could be a lot of changes coming.
