2023 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys stock up offense, Panthers reach at QB

23. Baltimore Ravens: Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame
Three losses in the last four games ended a strong start for the Baltimore Ravens. Injuries once again decimated them as they lost Lamar Jackson down the stretch which ended their shot at winning the AFC North. In the offseason, there will be a lot of questions about Jackson who is still trying to get a new contract with Baltimore.
His absence might have been the best negotiator since the offense looked much more potent with him running things. They were able to see what life after Jackson looked like, and perhaps that will change their tune in negotiations.
As for the draft, they could stand to add more help on defense. One possibility would be to add another cornerback, and Joey Porter, Jr. is a major temptation right here. They could also go with a pass-rusher since Justin Houston is up there in age.
That ends up being the route they take as Isaiah Foskey from Notre Dame is their choice. Foskey is well built at 6-foot-4 and nearly 260 pounds. He also has experience playing in the two-point stance, which is what he’s going to need to do in Baltimore.
He had 25 sacks for the Fighting Irish, setting a new record — topping Justin Tuck in the process. Now, he heads to a franchise known for playing elite defense and he could wind up being their latest pass-rushing star.
