2. New York Jets

Everyone knows the New York Jets are in desperate need of stability at the quarterback position. Everybody saw that this team is ready to compete in the AFC East, but they need the right guy under center to do that consistently.

Actually, how funny would it be to see Aaron Rodgers get traded to the Jets in the twilight of his NFL career? Remember back when the Packers traded Brett Favre to the Jets? Good times, good times.

Rodgers going to the Jets would certainly give this team some serious hope for the 2023 season. The Jets have a strong defense already, and Rodgers would have this arsenal of young talent at the skill positions to get the ball to:

  • RB: Breece Hall, Michael Carter
  • WR: Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis
  • WR: Elijah Moore, Braxton Berrios
  • TE: CJ Uzomah, Tyler Conklin

The talent is there to potentially entice Rodgers to come in. The receivers in New York could seriously benefit from having a guy like this getting them the ball, although I think we saw a much more “careless” Rodgers throughout the 2022 NFL season which obviously helped the Packers miss out on the playoffs.

Still, I think Rodgers to the Jets would be a massive upgrade in New York and would certainly be fascinating to see given the depth of the AFC right now.
