The NFL offseason is an exciting time of year. After a long season, Franchises regroup to reevaluate rosters for the upcoming year. In the NFL, one transaction is the difference between winning and losing. We can expect to see superstars in new destinations – starting with Aaron Rodgers.

Deciphering Aaron Rodgers’ next move is the latest post-season trend. The Packers missed the playoffs for a consecutive season – causing concerns for fans at home. A commitment to return from their quarterback would provide reassurance. The odds are unlikely, opening the door to interested franchisees.

Green Bay must evaluate all options before trading Aaron Rodgers

The Packers are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Their quarterback is open to viewing new pastures, despite a successful career. Trading him will force the franchise to commit to a rebuilding process. Success is not guaranteed, but who knows what offers Green Bay could receive for its best asset? The collateral will be impressive, but is it worth the trade-off?

The demand for veteran experience will rise this off-season. Investing in a rookie quarterback through the draft is the traditional route, but requires time. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Derek Carr are alternative options for franchises seeking immediate results.

Acquiring Rodgers could turn a pretender into a contender next season. He’s proven that he can compete a little longer, and his experience is noteworthy. Reaching an agreement with the Packers will take time. Relocation is a surgical move, and Green Bay must receive an equivalent trade value.

Green Bay will send Aaron Rodgers to an AFC Franchise

Debating if Rodgers can still perform is a waste of time. His stat line was impressive this season, despite the rocky start. Rodgers finished the season ranked 7th in touchdown passes (26) and 12th in passing yards (3,695). He’s an asset to any team, but where will the Packers send him?

A trade will become a mutual agreement, and Rodgers will give his input on his final destination. Dealing No.12 to a conference rival is absurd – narrowing the potential bidders to AFC franchises.
A chance to compete for a championship is important to No. 12,  and will alter the final decision.

Few teams fit the criteria for an Aaron Rodgers trade. Robert Saleh and the Jets are the front runners in the ongoing conversation. Their defensive prowess is an additional benefit – providing Rodgers a chance to win late games. Garrett Wilson is an explosive receiver and could be a perfect target for an incoming veteran. In 2022, Wilson ranked 15th in receiving yards (1,103) – an impressive start to a promising career.

Green Bay will have options for an Aaron Rodgers trade

A reunion with Devante Adams is also a possible outcome. Las Vegas benched Derek Carr in Week 17 – an indication of an incoming divorce. The Raiders will only trade their starter if an upgrade becomes available. A trade is ideal if Green Bay receives a righteous offer. Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller are possible targets, and Josh Jacobs expressed interest in re-signing.

The countdown to the NFL draft is underway. Franchises must decide how to repair rosters – using picks as collateral. If the Packers decide to trade Aaron Rodgers, it will happen before April. Offers without draft capital are not worth parting with a future Hall of Famer.
