Chicago Bears: 5 Draft targets who improved their stock in Senior Bowl
Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee
The Chicago Bears need a lot of help on the offensive line. That is especially true at the right tackle spot. Darnell Wright can provide that help.
Other than his moments against McDonald, Wright showed that he was the top tackle in Mobile.
Wright is the type of offensive lineman that Poles and the coaching staff covet. He is big, strong, athletic, and nasty. Poles mentioned at his first press conference after being hired that he didn’t see enough nastiness among the offensive linemen. He wants some nasty linemen who won’t get pushed around and really protect Fields.
Wright is exactly what Poles wants. He is 6-foot-3 and weighs 335 pounds. He is an imposing figure and has incredible strength. He could be ready to start from Day 1. He enjoys knocking defenders around and burying them.
