2. Philadelphia Eagles

Of course, the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the top teams capable of knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs. In fact, they nearly did so in Super Bowl LVII.

Philly had a 24-14 lead at the half and a 27-21 lead entering the fourth quarter. Kansas City continued to chip away and won by three, but had a couple of plays gone the other way, it would have been a different story.

The most talked about break that went Kansas City’s way was the late hold called against James Bradberry, which allowed the Chiefs to run the clock down to 11 seconds before kicking the winning kick. However, that play wasn’t the only one that will haunt the Eagles.

In the second quarter, the Eagles had a 14-7 lead and just forced a three-and-out. All momentum was in their favor but then Jalen Hurts made his lone mistake of the game as he fumbled the ball while switching hands. Nick Bolton ended up picking it up and ran it back for a touchdown, tying the game at 14.

Heading into 2023, the Eagles will not only return the majority of their star players but they also have two picks in Round 1 to add even more talent. General manager Howie Roseman has done a remarkable job building this team and could turn them into an even bigger threat.
