The Kansas City Chiefs just recently won Super Bowl LVII, which is the second time they hoisted the trophy during the Andy Reid/Patrick Mahomes era. Now, every other team in the NFL will be trying to make the right moves to catch the Chiefs.

We are early in the 2023 NFL offseason but that doesn’t mean we can’t start making predictions on what those moves will be.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Lock up Evan Engram long-term

While playing for the New York Giants, Evan Engram recorded 262 receptions for 2,828 yards with 16 touchdowns. He was always good but never matched the success he had as a rookie and struggled with health.

Then in 2022, he landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and set career highs for receptions (73) and yardage (766). He made good on his one-year “prove-it” deal and will reap the benefits as he becomes the next tight end to cash in.

Look for Engram to sign a deal similar to what David Njoku got in 2022, which was a four-year deal worth $56.75 million.

Tennessee Titans: Ship off Tannehill, add Jacoby Brissett

This could be a season for bug changes with the Tennessee Titans. They limped to a 7-10 finish and missed the playoffs after securing the No. 1 seed just one season ago. Now heading into the offseason, they’re expected to move on from left tackle Taylor Lewan — and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Ryan Tannehill join him.

They won’t be ready to start Malik Willis, however, so they should bring in a bridge starter. Jacoby Brissett is their choice as he did enough with the Browns during the 2022 campaign to convince the Titans he can help them tread water.
