Green Bay Packers: Improves on offense with Jordan Love

There’s been a growing sense that the Green Bay Packers are fed up with Aaron Rodgers and his drama. It’s one thing to be eccentric when you’re winning NFL MVPs but when you’re now 40 and coming off a rough campaign, the offseason back-and-forth has even less appeal.

Rodgers is again trying to hold the team hostage as he debates his future and while he’s doing that, reports are suggesting Green Bay is ready to move on with Jordan Love.

That would be the smart move for the future. There’s a risk that they won’t be as good with Love right away but it’s not as if this roster is winning a Super Bowl even with Rodgers — heck, Rodgers still hasn’t won one since 2010, so maybe it’s not a guarantee he increases their chances anyway.

This prediction is that Love ends up helping the offense. No longer do they feel as though they have to throw it so often as Love will lean on Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon — while also not giving an aged Randall Cobb 50 targets per season.

Chicago Bears: Again fail to help Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears can make some huge moves this offseason when they trade away the No. 1 pick. The problem is, they haven’t shown they can do much with their picks.

That’s going to be the case again. They’ll land a haul but will once again fail to improve their offense. They might land some elite defensive talent but that’s only going to replace the guys they traded in 2022.
