Way too early NFL predictions for every team in 2023

Los Angeles Rams: Continue the downward spiral
Talk about a drop-off.
Just one season after winning the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams were a dumpster fire in 2022. Injuries were a major problem but it won’t be better in 2023.
Matthew Stafford isn’t getting younger and there were real concerns about him going forward. It was so bad that many wondered if Baker Mayfield would be retained as an emergency plan.
On top of that, Aaron Donald and head coach Sean McVay are doing their best Aaron Rodgers impersonation with the constant retirement talk. This doesn’t feel like a team that’s focused on the right stuff and they’re surely going to be blowing it all up and starting over again soon.
Arizona Cardinals: Completely implode, again
There continue to be rumors of Kyler Murray being a problem and when there’s smoke, there’s fire. Murray has all the talent in the world but he’s apparently a headache to deal with. And while social media warriors were mad when the Arizona Cardinals put an independent study clause in his contract, there was a reason for it.
Now heading into 2023, there’s a new head coach and offensive coordinator in Jonathan Gannon and Drew Petzig. Both have a lot to offer but it won’t matter as long as Murray is their centerpiece. This is going to be another long season in Arizona as this offense continues to implode week after week.
