Buffalo Bills: Lose Stefon Diggs but still improve

When the Buffalo Bills traded for Stefon DIggs ahead of the 2020 season, it was exactly what they needed. Josh Allen had shown promise but needed that No. 1 option to really find his confidence. Now after three seasons, Diggs has put up insane numbers with 338 receptions for 4,189 yards, and 29 touchdowns.

Even so, there are whispers that Diggs is unhappy with the Bills following two frustrating playoff defeats in a row. That could lead to his departure, which is predicted here.

As was the case when the Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill, this won’t be a death sentence for Buffalo. Allen has developed into such a playmaker under center that he can elevate players such as Gabe Davis and that will lead to the Bills improving even without their top pass-catcher.

Miami Dolphins: Add Jimmy Garoppolo

Whenever Tua Tagovailoa starts, the Miami Dolphins are typically a winning football team. But it’s clear by now that he’s never going to be a healthy player. In fact, there are serious concerns about his health after football after he suffered so many concussions this year.

In order to protect themselves, Miami needs to find another possible starter and that’s what happens here. Mike McDaniel brings Jimmy Garoppolo over as the two reunite after spending several years together in San Francisco.

Garoppolo has his own injury concerns but he can run this offense and afford them enough time to find a legitimate replacement.
