Jamison Crowder, Buffalo Bills

One of the things that Poles did last year was sign players to low-cost, one-year deals. With many holes needed to be filled on the Chicago Bears roster, he could decide to sign a couple of one-year deals.

One player who fits that mold is Jamison Crowder. Last season, he suffered a broken ankle and only played in four games. He wants to show he is over his injury.

Poles could sign Crowder on a one-year “prove it” deal. Should he play well in 2023, he could cash in.

While Crowder likely won’t be a WR1, he can be a solid player. With a small deal, Poles can still afford to look for and sign a WR1.

Crowder averages 11.2 yards per catch in his career. He can be depended upon to make the catches that move the chains and an occasional big play. If he is over his injury he could be an underrated signing that could turn out to be big.
