Philadelphia Eagles mock draft: 2023 Scouting Combine edition

1st Round 30th Pick – Luke Wypler, Center, Ohio State

Career Stats: 1,702 career starts at center

2nd Round 62nd Pick – Nathaniel Dell, Wide Receiver, Houston

Career Stats: 3,155 yards receiving, 32 touchdowns, 13.8 yards per reception

3rd  Round 94th Pick – DeWayne McBride, Running Back, UAB

Career Stats: 3,523 rushing yards, 7.3 yards per carry, 36 touchdowns

The Eagles are now the team to beat in the NFC East and are going to need to restock their roster after teams poach some of their players in free agency. The Eagles decided not to make moves in the draft and instead take the best cornerback in the draft in Devon Witherspoon and later take center Luke Wypler to replace Jason Kelce in the first round.

In the second and third rounds, the Eagles elect to take receiver Nathaniel Dell and running back DeWayne McBride to give quarterback Jalen Hurts more weapons he can use. Dell’s speed gives Hurts another real weapon on the outside while McBride is a tough runner who can pick up the tough yards and has big play-making ability in space.
