9. The New York Jets trade Zack Wilson

People may roll their eyes, but there’s no shortage of teams who would be interested in acquiring Wilson. There are always coaches who believe they can unlock a player’s potential. Besides, Wilson’s time is up. Fans turned against him, albeit he played a role. Mike White showed he’s a solid starter, and they have been courting Derek Carr. There was only one reason why they didn’t offer him a contract. They were waiting for Aaron Rodgers to emerge from the darkness. With that said, trading Wilson makes sense.

If the Jets can get a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 fifth-round pick for Wilson, it could be a win-win situation for both parties. The Jets would get a good return for a player who hasn’t panned out, and Wilson would have the opportunity to start fresh with a new team and a new coaching staff.

Ultimately, the Jets must make the cutthroat move and do what’s best for the team. While it may be tough to give up on a player with such potential, it’s clear that Wilson isn’t the answer for the Jets at this point in time. A trade could be just what the team needs to move forward and start building for the future.
