3. Green Bay Packers trade Aaron Rodgers

Another year and the Aaron Rodgers saga continues. The Packers have done everything to make their future Hall of Fame quarterback happy. They gave him a contract, brought some of his friends in, and they waited patiently for him to make a decision about his future. On the bench sits Jordan Love, the prototype quarterback with a big arm and legs. He’s a toolsy guy who waited in the wings for his time to shine. For the Packers, it’s either now or never.

There are a few teams who would give up a pair of first-round picks to get Aaron Rodgers, but the All-Pro quarterback controls his destiny, kind of. He’ll want to go to a team where he can win now. One of those teams is the New York Jets who are desperate for a signal caller with a roster that rivals the Packers. By trading away Rodgers, the Packers could load up on more talent and properly evaluate Jordan Love.

It’s not difficult to imagine the Jets trading the No. 13 and No. 44 picks in the 2023 NFL Draft at minimum for Rodgers. The Packers would have two first and two second-round picks inside the Top 50. They could flip those picks into more picks in the 2024 NFL draft.
