2. Tennessee Titans trade Derrick Henry

In what will be a devastating move, the Titans should move on from Derrick Henry a year or two earlier than later. Henry has been the most consistently dominant running back in the NFL over the last few years. He’s still in his prime as a runner, but his value will decrease sooner rather than later. If the Titans opted to trade Henry now, they could get a first-round pick or something close.

The Titans have a bad offensive line, and they don’t have any weapons out wide to help take pressure off Henry. They also have question marks at quarterback with Ryan Tannehill clearly not being the future. Will he be back? Or will they give Malik Willis a chance to start a full season With so many questions, moving Henry and stockpiling picks is the right move.

One potential trade partner would be the Dallas Cowboys. Mike McCarthy is looking to run the ball more, but he doesn’t have the back to do it. Ezekiel Elliot is on the decline and cost a ton. Tony Pollard hasn’t carried the load, and he’s coming off an injury. In return, the Titans could get the Cowboys’ No. 27 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. After his years of service and a great payday, it’s time for the Titans and Henry to part ways.
