Las Vegas Raiders dream target no. 2: Jalen Ramsey, CB, Rams

The rules were tweaked for this dream target selection. Jalen Ramsey is not a free agent, restricted or otherwise, but the trade rumors are surfacing. The six-time Pro Bowler has already secured a massive contract with the LA Rams and won a Super Bowl. The Rams finished the 2022 season with a 5-12 record and signs are starting to point toward a rebuild incoming.

The Rams have a reputation for trading away picks however this couple is an opportunity for them to amass more top-tier picks for the draft. Trading Jalen Ramsey could require other teams to part ways with their first or second-round pick in 2023.

Ramsey has at times been the highest-rated cornerback in the league. Ramsey is an extremely physical corner who can take over a game defensively. While Ramsey doesn’t lead the league in interceptions he was second in passes defended (18) in 2022 and 3rd in forced fumbles with 3.

Ramsey would bring a winning mentality to the Raiders and his competitive desire would hopefully rub off on the rest of the defense.
