Derrick Henry is on the trading lock, and there are more than a few teams ideally suited for the battering ram future Hall of Famer back.

Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round because we’re about to talk about a man who’s making history in the NFL. A man who’s known for his brute strength, lightning speed, and unstoppable drive that’s taken him to the top of the league. That’s right, we’re talking about none other than the king of the backfield, the beast of Tennessee himself, Derrick Henry.

This man is a force to be reckoned with. At 6’3″ and 247 pounds, Henry is one of the biggest and strongest running backs in NFL history. He’s got the speed and agility to make defenders miss, but he’s also got the raw power to bulldoze his way through any obstacle in his path.

But it’s not just his physical attributes that make Henry a standout player. This guy’s got heart, determination, and a work ethic that’s second to none. He’s a leader on and off the field, and his teammates respect and admire him for his dedication and drive.

And let’s not forget about his stats. Henry’s racked up over 8,300 rushing yards and 78 touchdowns with the Tennessee Titans. Here’s the thing: Henry is now a valuable trade option for any NFL team looking for a running back. His contract is manageable, and he’s got years of prime football left in him. So if you’re a team in need of a reliable, dominant back, Derrick Henry should be on the top of the list.

3. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen was heralded as the next great quarterback, and he is a really good signal-caller. He’s a powerful runner with a big arm that sets the tone for his offense. Imagine adding Derrick henry to the backfield. Over the years, GM Brandon Beane tried to bolster the backfield with draft picks like Zack Moss, Devin Singletary, and James Cook. Moss moved on while Singletary is set to hit free agency. The Buffalo Bills currently hold the No. 28th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Sure, they can stand pat and hope for a guy like Bijan Robinson to fall in their laps, which is possible, or they can get Henry, who can help run them right into the Super Bowl.

Henry could carry the offense on early downs and late in games. James Cook would bring a more dynamic style to the offense. Given Henry’s age and wear, splitting carries in some games would benefit the future Hall of Famer. Henry is a bell cow, but he’s sneaky explosive and doesn’t need a ton of carries to make an impact. He and Josh Allen would wear defenses down as they batter their way into the playoffs. Playaction would work even better knowing the Bills have a back like Henry, who was a real threat on the ground.
