10 dream targets for the Dallas Cowboys in NFL Free Agency
There are players that we know the Dallas Cowboys would have more interest in based on their production but more importantly their cost. The Cowboys’ front office is always looking to find players they feel are going to help the team but not take up a lot of cap space, but what if they actually decided to make some moves in free agency this season, who could some of those dream players they could add to the roster and boost their production whether it be on defense of offense? We know the Cowboys have been linked to players right now that involve trading away draft capital but with the way the Cowboys value their draft picks these dream options might be their best options if they want to make a splash in free agency.
Let’s take a look at a few of these dream free agents that would immediately be able to come in and help this Dallas team get over the hump and back into the conference championship and possibly the Super Bowl.
10 dream targets for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 NFL Free Agency
1. Damien Harris, Running Back
The Cowboys are going to need someone that can come in and become a nice one-two punch for them in the running game along with Tony Pollard. Harris is someone that would fill that role perfectly for Dallas, his ability to hit holes with speed and power as well as his ability to catch the football out of the backfield make him a very nice pairing for the Cowboys. We know Dallas is saying they want to keep Ezekiel Elliott but if they are serious about winning they will move on from him and bring in a veteran running back and draft a rookie to be their future at the position.
2. Parris Campbell, Wide Receiver
The Cowboys are in desperate need of speed at the wide receiver position and Campbell has plenty of speed to offer up to a team that brings him in. Outside of CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys have a bunch of questions about the health of receivers, speed, and their ability to work themselves open or win at the line of scrimmage. Campbell would be able to win at the line and beat cornerbacks in a foot race when hit in stride like head coach Mike McCarthy is looking to do more of in the offense this season.
