3. Mike Gesicki, Tight End

Gesicki is the free-agent tight end that everyone will be looking at in terms of setting the market thanks to his on-the-field production in Miami. The Cowboys are no exception as they are going to be looking to find themselves a weapon at tight end much like the Chiefs have in Travis Kelce according to owner Jerry Jones.

Unless they plan on trading for a tight end Gesicki is the guy you’re going to want, he’s a quarterback-friendly tight end, a weapon in the red zone, and has enough wiggle in his game to get open against linebackers and safeties and works the middle of the field.

4. Mecole Hardman, Wide Receiver

Sticking with the Chiefs and their fee agents hitting the market, another player that should catch the Cowboys’ attention is Mardman whose speed on the field is undeniable. If the Cowboys are truly looking to do more damage in the yards-after-catch category then look no further than Hardman who has the speed to win at the line of scrimmage, take screen passes to the house, and use his speed to stretch the field for a big play or open up space for more underneath routes to be completed.

The Cowboys know they need someone like Hardman on this roster, the question becomes do they want to pull the trigger on a deal.
