7. Tremaine Edmunds, Linebacker

Leighton Vander Esch and Tremaine Edmunds are both very good linebackers in both the running game and passing game but the main difference between the two would have to be Edmunds’s ability to stay on the field. It remains to be seen if the Cowboys make a move to keep Vander Esch or let him walk, if he does walk then Edmunds alongside Micah Parsons would create a dynamic duo at linebacker for this team.

Edmunds’s speed and knack for getting to the football in traffic would be a great pickup and one that in the long run would be a better signing than bringing back Vander Esh.

8. Jamel Dean, Cornerback

From the outside looking in you could say that Dean is more of an under-the-radar signing that could happen for the Cowboys, but after his 2022 season and his development at the position Dean has worked himself into a nice contract come up soon. The Cowboys have seen what Dean can do and he fits the style of cornerback the Cowboys covet. He’s tall with long arms, has good speed, and is aggressive in the running game.

A perfect addition to a cornerback group that showed outside of Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland they are really lacking at the position.
