9. Vonn Bell, Safety

Let’s say the Cowboys instead of re-signing Donovan Wilson decide to get an established veteran to come in and help them at safety. Bell would be that guy and would be able to come in and fill the hole left by the loss of Wilson in almost every way for Dallas. He has good pass coverage skills but he does most of his damage defending the run and crossing routes just like Wilson. He would be a perfect addition at safety and one that would allow the Cowboys to draft and develop someone behind him.

10. Marcus Davenport, Defensive End

The Cowboys were able to work out a new deal with defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence last offseason to help them with their cap situation but Lawrence is getting up there in age and the Cowboys need to have a contingency plan in place. Davenport is a big physical defensive end that plays much like Lawrence does, the Saints have been able to move him all over the defensive line creating mismatches in their favor just like Lawrence.

Adding Davenport would give the Cowboys a defensive end that would be able to take over for Lawrence when he eventually moves on from the team or retires.

They could also move on from Dorance Armstrong but in the meantime, Dan Quinn would have another chess piece to play with.
