Chicago Bears final mock draft before the 2023 NFL Draft
136. Jordan McFadden, OT, Clemson
The Chicago Bears solidify the offensive line by picking Jordan McFadden. While Poles moved to make the interior line stronger, he now has added depth at tackle.
McFadden could play either tackle spot so he is a quality backup. He could even find himself playing some at guard. His experience as a starter for three years is invaluable. He is ready to plug and play.
McFadden has good footwork and strength. In the running game, he can just drive the defender out of the way and open up holes for the ball carrier. In the passing game, McFadden’s footwork and quickness help him stay squared to the defender.
McFadden has very good body control. He will rarely be found out of position when blocking. Additionally, he gets into the second level quickly and in control.
