Second-round pick highlights
The Houston Texans ultimately do land a QB in this NFL mock draft scenario, drafting Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker. The latest rumors have Hooker landing in round one after some team trades up for him. Would the Texans do that? Houston might be playing with fire if they want to try to get two different players at the 2nd and 12th picks overall, leaving Hooker on the board. If he’s their guy, they should probably just take him at 12, but you never know what kind of hubris teams will operate with.
And how about the Detroit Lions coming away with both tight end Darnell Washington and pass rusher BJ Ojulari in this round? Their insane haul continues.
