9. Los Angeles Rams

  • Matthew Stafford
  • Stetson Bennett
  • Brett Rypien

A lot of this depends on the health of Matthew Stafford, but let’s not forget that it was barely a calendar year ago when Stafford and the Rams emerged victorious as Super Bowl champions. And Stafford was considered an MVP candidate along the way.

Unless he’s so badly hurt that he simply can’t play at a high level anymore physically, I don’t think that guy has disappeared. Recency bias would have the Rams lower on this list but I still believe in Matthew Stafford under Sean McVay.

I also think the Rams raised the “floor” of this room by adding Brett Rypien and Stetson Bennett in the offseason.

10. Baltimore Ravens

  • Lamar Jackson
  • Tyler Huntley
  • Anthony Brown

Say what you want about Lamar Jackson, but when he’s healthy, few guys are as dangerous with the ball in their hands. I think you’d be crazy not to have him as a top-10 quarterback in the NFL, even with the context of all that has gone on the last couple of years. I’m willing to bet that Jackson racks up at least 40 total touchdowns in 2023, re-establishing himself as an MVP candidate now that he’s got the big bag.

Tyler Huntley managed to make the Pro Bowl in Jackson’s absence last year.
