NFL team no. 3: Buffalo Bills

The Bills were never a team with a bunch of holes, and they only got better. It’s clear that their offense will try to take some pressure off Josh Allen with more two-tight-end sets. Ken Dorsey will take advantage of their new offensive weapon, Dalton Kincaid. Dorsey can run heavy sets with a tight end that will work in space. He’s excellent in zone coverage with elite hands, and can also threaten the seams. He’s so fluid in terms of route running, athleticism, and play speed. Kincaid has the ability to create mismatches against lesser coverage. His impeccable ball skills and sticky hands give him an advantage in contested situations, often coming out on top in 50/50 throws.

Another improved aspect of an offense that was one of the best in the league was the offensive line. With the 2023 NFL Draft, the Bills got a boost with a powerful run-mauling Florida offensive lineman, O’Cyrus Torrence, who blocked for a QB with Josh Allen’s skill set in Anthony Richardson. Given how often they run power options with Allen, it makes sense for the Bills to invest up front. Hopefully, they don’t run Allen as much, given the beating he tends to take. They added Damien Harris, who will replace Devin Singletary and bring more power to the ground game. The Bills got firsthand experience of what Harris can bring to the offense during his time with New England.

Von Miller should be returning as a pass rush specialist, which should give a boost to everyone on the defense. A player like Dorian Williams, who was added in the draft, should get some time as a coverage linebacker. The Buffalo Bills have made savvy moves to bolster their defense and solidify their dominance. Jordan Phillips, a productive veteran defensive tackle, returns for another season, providing valuable depth behind Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones. While Phillips has an injury history, his contributions when healthy make him a valuable asset.

Additionally, the Bills have added Shaq Lawson, an experienced pass-rusher, to strengthen their defensive end position. Lawson showed improvement last season, and his presence adds another dimension to the defense. These signings address key areas of need and reinforce the Bills’ formidable defense, setting them up for continued success.
