1. The season hinges on Tua’s Health

The No. 1 reason Jalen Ramsey doesn’t mean panic has everything to do with No. 1. The entire season is on Tua Tagovailoa’s health. Tua has a ton of pressure coming into the 2023 NFL Season, especially after his performance last year. After being labeled as a bust by NFL media, Tua slowly started to quiet the doubters as he found himself in the MVP race early in the season. A few concussions later, and not only is his health in question, the season hinges on him.

The Fins are loaded on offense with Jalen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, Chosen Robinson, and Cedric Wilson. Hill is the game-changer who had one of his best seasons with Tua at quarterback despite the naysayers. Waddle’s speed is second to no one, maybe Hill’s, but you couldn’t tell on the field.

There’s the backfield. They have a solid duo in the backfield with Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson, who did a fantastic job when given the opportunity. They also added a dynamic speedster in the draft, De’Von Achane.

With so much firepower and a potential contract on the line, the Fins will go as Tua goes. In the second year of the offense, the season hinges on Tua’s ability to take the next step. More importantly, Tua has to stay healthy.
