3 reasons why the Falcons can make NFC Championship Game

The Falcons have talent at the most important positions on an NFL roster

We’ve already covered the offensive and defensive lines, which are two very crucial parts of an NFL roster, but there is further reason to believe that the Falcons have talent at the other most important positions on the roster.

Their CB duo of AJ Terrell and Jeff Okudah is certainly encouraging.  Terrell is one of the best in the NFL and Okudah was a top-five draft pick.  He’s struggled with injuries, but if he could put it together in year four, the secondary could be very dangerous.

The Falcons also have some killer weapons in Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson, and Tyler Allgeier, who quietly rushed for 1,000 yards last year.  It’s imperative for an NFL team to have at least one elite playmaker on offense to make a deep playoff run.  Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson could both be top-five at their positions in 2023.

Another very crucial part of an NFL roster are the pass rushers.  Their projected starting pass rushers of Lorenzo Carter and Bud Dupree are not elite, but both have shown to be adequate at the NFL level.  If you pair them with the nasty defensive line that the Falcons’ boast, this pass rush could have contributions at all levels.

Listen, a lot would have to go right for the Atlanta Falcons to make the NFC Championship Game in 2023, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
