The preseason is over and the 2023 regular season is just around the corner. Will NFL players are getting ready for regular season play, a lot of fans are drafting for fantasy Football. For people who participate in fantasy football, find talent in the draft and if Washington Commanders fans play in fantasy leagues, they need to know which of their team’s players they need to draft.

Washington Commanders players you need to draft in fantasy football

The first Commanders player who you need to draft is Terry McLaurin. He’s going to be the number one target for second-year quarterback Sam Howell. While he might have injury concerns about his toe, the long-term talent is just too hard to pass up. He’s recorded over 1,000 yards in each of the past three seasons despite subpar quarterback play, so he’s a good player to draft in the early to middle rounds.

Second-year running back Brian Robinson Jr. is another Washington player fantasy football team managers need to consider in the early to middle draft rounds. Despite missing a significant portion of last season due to recovering from a gunshot injury, Robinson was able to produce. Now with new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy Robinson should be used in the passing game more this year.

With a full season of experience under his belt, former first round pick Jahan Dotson is primed to have a breakout season. More likely than not, McLaurin will face double-teams so Dotson will have his fair share of easy looks. Dotson showed flashes of pure potential as a rookie and he could be a steal as a mid-late round pick.

Sam Howell has a boom or bust value as a fantasy football draft pick. Despite having a good preseason and training, Howell is still an unknown value as a quarterback. He’s a good value as a backup quarterback in fantasy and should be a late-round selection. If he performs well he’d be a steal and a possible starter for your fantasy team.

Robinson won’t be the only Washington running back that would benefit from Bieniemy. Antonio Gibson has the potential to record good fantasy stats despite being the third down back. I wrote in the past that a bold prediction I had for Gibson would tally over 1,000 total yards and if he does that he’d be a good late-round steal.
