The Indianapolis Colts are being both understandably and unreasonably stingy when it comes to star running back Jonathan Taylor. On the one hand, it’s understandable that the Colts wouldn’t want to just “give” Taylor away to another team in a trade. If they were desperate to trade him and got horrible value in return, the Colts’ fan base would likely riot. But on the other hand, if the Colts value Jonathan Taylor so highly, why not trade him and let him get paid elsewhere? It seems like the Green Bay Packers might be willing to do just that.
