If you’re a team thinking about tanking for the 2024 NFL Draft to get USC superstar Caleb Williams, you might want to think again. Caleb Williams is considered the no. 1 overall prospect ahead of next year’s draft and for good reason. He’s already put no. 1 overall pick stuff on tape at both Oklahoma and USC as last year’s Heisman winner, and he’s on his way to potentially a second Heisman Trophy here in 2023.

But Williams has leverage being one of the best prospects at the most important position in the NFL over the last decade or so. He’s got a cushy gig there at USC and while nobody believes he’s going to return to school after this season, he’s apparently threatening it if he doesn’t like the situation atop the 2024 NFL Draft.
