Aaron’s Glen’s defense performed well on opening night. They limited the NFL’s reigning champions to 20 total points. C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Aidan Hutchinson kept Mahomes on his toes for four quarters. The Lions applied pressure, and it helped build momentum for an electrifying second half.

Chiefs WR Justin Watson could become a reliable FLEX option

The Chiefs experienced hiccups during their first regular season game. Tipped passes led to six points for the opposing team. When Matt Nagy’s offense needed to push the ball downfield, the offense looked to Watson. He became a deep ball target for Mahomes throughout the game. At the end of the night, Watson was targeted four times for 45 yards, He finished the game with 6.50 fantasy points.
