6 Predictions that will hold true for the 2023 NFL Season

1. The Bengals will miss the playoffs

One of the most significant concerns is the health of star quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow, who had shown improvement from game one to game two, appears to be suffering from a calf injury during a game. We all remember the calf injury he suffered in the offseason, the one that Ja’Marr Chase, his LSU and current teammate, spoke openly about. Remember when Chase hoped Burrow wouldn’t rush back until he was 100% healthy? Instead, the Bengals’ quarterback opted to show his toughness for an offensive line that can’t protect Burrow. The line can’t protect him, and he won’t protect himself. Given his current struggles and the money the Bengals invested, they may want to sit him for a few weeks.
