Week 9 of the 2026 NFL Season is nearly here. It's wild to think that after this week of football is over, the trade deadline will pass. As we creep further into November, each game is going to carry that much more weight.
The playoff races in both conferences are going to heat up as well. The league is wide open, as you could argue that about 10 different teams are capable of winning the Super Bowl this year, and both Super Bowl teams from a year ago are a combined 9-7 thus far, so they're dealing with regressions, too.
Let's dive into our weekly picks and score predictions for each game.
2026 NFL Season, Week 9: Picks and score predictions for each game
Thursday, November 5th
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Baltimore Ravens, 8:15 PM ET
The Baltimore Ravens are down to their third-string quarterback, and that might honestly be as deep as the analysis needs to go for this game. The Ravens are now 4-4 on the season and may not get Lamar Jackson back this year. Joe Fagnano isn't even guaranteed to play, so this could get ugly.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a very good team and might end up playing a banged-up, third-string QB. It's the brutal reality of the NFL sometimes. Jacksonville is going to trounce the Ravens.
Prediction: Jaguars win 30-10
Sunday, November 8th
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons, 9:30 AM ET (Spain)
The Cincinnati Bengals needed overtime to beat the Tennessee Titans, and the Atlanta Falcons got trounced by Tampa Bay. On a neutral playing field, I actually think this game could go in the Falcons favor, as they do have an aggressive defense, and outside of a dreadful Week 8 performance in the rain, Michael Penix Jr and the Falcons offense has looked awesome this year.
In a game where the Falcons play a bit angry and want to erase the ugly from Week 8, they pull-off a mini-upset over the Bengals, whose defenses is hit or miss.
