Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 PM ET

Let's talk about these teams. The Arizona Cardinals came back and beat Dallas in Week 8. Now sitting at 3-5 on the season, a team that many of us predicted to be among the worst in football is simply not. Sure, the Cardinals aren't necessarily good, but being 3-5 after eight games is better standing than a large handful of other squads.

And Gardner Minshew being able to lead that comeback was quite something - he's a capable QB who should be able to play a more consistent brand of football. While Arizona might struggle to find three more wins this year, it's been a rather solid start across the board all things considered.

The 4-4 Seattle Seahawks got blown out at home by Chicago in Week 8 and are seeing both sides of the ball regress, which I guess isn't a major surprise. Many teams that win the Super Bowl and see key players and coaches exit tend to go through a regression.

QB Sam Darnold has not played well this year, and the defense is missing its bite from a year ago. Seattle is also approaching desperate times, in my opinion, as this team surely did not expect to be just .500 halfway through the season.

They may now need to finish 6-3 at minimum just to get into the playoffs, and, beyond that, a division title feels very unlikely.

Seattle is going to rebound against a weaker, but still capable Cardinals team. They'll win this one by multiple scores in our Week 9 predictions and perhaps try to kickstart something in the second half of the year.

We're going 30-17, Seahawks. Getting to 5-4 would still put them in a decent position overall in the NFC Playoff Picture, and if the 49ers stumble, the NFC West could get more interesting.

Prediction: Seahawks win 30-17
