Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers, 1:00 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts each come into this game 2-2. Both teams also feel rather similar, don't they? What do the Steelers or Colts do particularly well? Pittsburgh's story has been the same for years now - the change in veteran QB doesn't seem to change much of anything at all.
Pittsburgh doesn't scare you much of anywhere on offense, and the expensive defense has seen some of its best players get old and leave their prime years. On paper, the Steelers don't jump off the page and might be lucky to hit eight wins this year.
After their ugly Week 4 loss against the Browns, you really don't have a ton of hope for this team, especially as the weather gets older. I guess if you want to find optimism with the Colts, it could be with Jonathan Taylor, their stud running back who is always a pleasure to watch.
But when I look at the Steelers playing at home, I honestly struggle to pick against them. They beat Cincinnati at home in Week 3 and just have that 'edge' to them playing in front of the home crowd, despite not being a very good team.
And I really can't trust Colts QB Daniel Jones in that type of environment. Yes, the Colts did just take Kansas City into overtime a few weeks ago, but the Chiefs oddly don't have nearly as much talent on defense as you might think.
In what could turn out to be a close game, I'm picking the Steelers, as they just seem to almost always make one more play than their opponent when playing at home, and that's really where I'm looking for this rather uninspiring matchup in Week 5.
