Week 2 of the 2026 NFL Season is officially in the books. Week 3 is approaching, which also represents the last football we'll see in the month of September.
The first few weeks of a given NFL season can be a bit misleading. A perfect example of this would be the 2025 Houston Texans, a team that started the year 0-3 but proceeded to finish the year 12-5. There is still a lot that is going to change between now and even one month from now.
As we have done each week thus far, we have our weekly picks and score predictions for Week 3. Let's get into it.
NFL picks and score predictions for every game in Week 3
Thursday, September 24th
Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers, 8:15 PM ET
This isn't exactly a fun Thursday Night Football matchup. The Atlanta Falcons might just be the worst team in the sport right now, and the Green Bay Packers not only blew a second-half lead in Week 1, but needed overtime to beat the New York Jets.
Honestly, I am not sure the roster talent between these two teams is all that different, but the one thing the Packers have that the Falcons do not is a competent quarterback. Whoever is starting for the Falcons in Week 3 isn't close to the passer that Jordan Love is, and that's ultimately going to be the deciding factor here.
Love and the Packers aren't a very good team right now, but getting this game at home and it coming against the Falcons will present a very clear-as-day 'get right game' for the franchise, a team trapped in the loaded NFC North.
The Falcons fail to get into the end zone and struggle to do much of anything right in Week 3.
Prediction: Packers win 28-9
