Las Vegas Raiders @ New Orleans Saints, 4:25 PM ET
Ah, yes, the Derek Carr Bowl. Las Vegas and New Orleans square off in Week 3 of the 2026 NFL Season, and I am not sure you expected these two teams to have a combined 3-1 record coming into this game.
The Raiders are 2-0 with wins over Miami and Los Angeles, while the Saints mounted a comeback against the Ravens in Week 2. The Saints are such a fun team, as Tyler Shough very clearly has the goods and is an up-and-coming player for the team.
New Orleans just seems to have that fight about them. They just don’t seem to quit and are every bit of a good football team. I am not sure the Raiders are for real, though, as beating the Dolphins and Chargers honestly isn’t that impressive.
The Raiders are a flawed team with a ton of roster holes and simply might be on an early-season honeymoon that comes to an end this week. Kirk Cousins is playing well, though, and the Raiders do have key players on offense in Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers, two players who are foundational pieces.
But in this matchup, the Saints do have the QB advantage and have a better overall roster. I would give the Saints the nod at head coach, too. There is a lot going in the Saints favor here, and with this team having just gone into Baltimore and beaten the Ravens, I believe they’ll return home to a much easier opponent and take care of business against a team that is still probably going to be bad this year.
The Saints win this one by a touchdown and get to 2-1, further fueling chatter of a potential NFC South-winning season this year.
Prediction: Saints win 27-20
