Los Angeles Chargers @ Buffalo Bills, 1:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Chargers, just like we all predicted, are 0-2 with losses against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders. Suddenly, this Chargers team doesn't have a clear-cut first win on their schedule given the gauntlet they're about to begin.
The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 to begin the season, and QB Josh Allen has been playing out of his mind. Allen is playing at an MVP level through two weeks, but the defense has honestly been quite horrid. With that said, the Bills just don't really have much going against them in this one.
This could be a perfect game for Buffalo's defense to have a breakout performance, as both Arizona and Las Vegas' defenses feasted on the Chargers. This would also then likely open up a few more possessions for the Allen-led Bills offense to throw a ton of points on the board.
Unfortunately for LA, there just isn't a lot to be hopeful about already. The team is going to struggle in this one and again endure a double-digit loss. An 0-3 start will only make the questions louder, and I am not sure it's crazy to suggest that some sort of major move could be coming if the Bolts continue to struggle.
As for Buffalo, the team probably just wants to fast-forward through the regular season and into the playoffs, as they still have yet to make a Super Bowl run in the Allen era and would logically want to finally put the years of playoff heartbreaks behind them.
This is also a game that the Bills simply cannot lose given the high expectations they have, even with a new head coach. Buffalo wins this one by double-digits and gets out to a 3-0 start.
Prediction: Bills win 35-20
