Kansas City Chiefs @ Miami Dolphins, 1:00 PM ET
This one could get out of hand pretty quickly. After a neat primetime win over Indianapolis in Week 2, Kansas City heads to Miami to face the rebuilding Dolphins. On paper, while the Chiefs aren't overwhelmingly talented, they're significantly better than the Dolphins, and that could be said for most other teams in the league.
Miami is going to get beat up on pretty badly this year, but it's clear that this front office is taking a full-on rebuilding approach. This is year one of that rebuild, so they were always going to be a bad team. From top to bottom, the Dolphins need roster help, and the Chiefs could continue this unbeaten streak to start the season.
After blowing out Denver in Week 1, it took them into overtime to knock-off the Colts. Running back Kenneth Walker III has gotten a huge workload up to this point, so that's something we'll have to keep an eye on as the season progresses, as Walker has never been a work-horse running back.
This game could actually be a perfect time for the Chiefs to lessen Walker's workload, as Kansas City may be able to put this game away in the first quarter.
I would not be shocked if backups entered the game for the Chiefs. Miami should be able to win a game at some point this year, but it's definitely not coming in Week 3. After a shocking non-playoff season, the Chiefs should be able to begin this year 3-0 and get to half of their 2025 win total already.
The Dolphins should spiral to 0-3, and while there won't be any major changes made for Miami, we will begin to wonder when this team wins their first game.
