CIncinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers, 1:00 PM ET
Oh boy. This game could get out of hand rather quickly. After two weeks, I am not sure the Pittsburgh Steelers are appreciably better than Cleveland right now. The entire team is horrific. They don't really do a single thing well, and Aaron Rodgers appears to be well over the hump, which is less than ideal.
The Steelers just did not operate how an NFL franchise should operate this offseason. They brought back Rodgers for another year, which was a mistake, and failed to 'get with the times' with their new head coaching hire. Yes, Mike McCarthy is a Pittsburgh guy, but he was not the type of head coach the Steelers needed at all.
The roster is just OK, and with a below-average QB and no top-end talent, this is the product you get. The Steelers lost in as ugly a fashion as you'll see in Week 2 against New England, a team that hasn't exactly been good this year, either.
The Cincinnati Bengals are now 2-0 on the season after wins over Tampa Bay and Houston. The defense has already stepped up, and the offense looks as we all expect it to look. This is simply a much better football team from top to bottom. Cincinnati is significantly more talented, especially at the QB position, and should be able to put up a ton of points here.
In fact, I'd be shocked if this wasn't a double-digit victory for the Bengals, a team that may soon emerge as a legitimate contender. I understand that AFC North games can get messy, but I do truly believe the Bengals are far enough ahead of the Steelers for the team to simply go in their, not do anything silly, and come out with a win.
Prediction: Bengals win 30-17
