Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Commanders, 8:20 PM ET
Before the season, this game felt like a pretty 'normal' primetime outing against to division rivals. However, with Week 8 here, that could not be further from the truth, unfortunately. The Philadelphia Eagles have dealt with a series of injuries this year, and none has been more devastating than Jalen Hurts and his blood clots situation.
Hurts will not play again this year, so the Eagles are going to have to try to keep this thing rolling with backup QBs. While the Washington Commanders aren't a great team and might honestly be worse than the Eagles right now, they do have their starting QB, and that should be the difference.
While Jayden Daniels isn't necessarily elite, he's defiintely one of the better starters in football right now, and with the Commanders likely needing to stack a few wins for the sake of head coach Dan Quinn's job security, they should come out and play a desperate brand of football. Commanders win this one by four points.
Prediction: Commanders win 24-20
Monday, November 2nd
Chicago Bears @ Seattle Seahawks, 8:15 PM ET
Now this is what I am talking about.
This is one heck of a Monday Night Football game, as you certainly have a 'strength on a strength' matchup with the Chicago Bears offense and Seattle Seahawks defense. Frankly, this could be an NFC playoff matchup later this year, and I am not sure it's wild to think that both of these teams are capable of making the Super Bowl.
Seattle does get the homefield advantage, but the Bears bring in the better QB. This may honestly be a coin flip, so I'd not fault for picking either team. With this game being as tight as you'll see in the NFL, this could be a game where you might go back and forth trying to pick a winner.
I'm going to get a bit frisky and pick the Bears thanks to some late-game heroics.
