Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) @ Chicago Bears (1-1)
Monday, September 28, 8:15 PM ET
Sadly, it doesn't look like this is going to be as epic of a matchup in primetime as it might have a week ago at this time.
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was carted off the field with what is now an infamous hamstring injury, but even though the Bears' star quarterback seemingly avoided a season-ending disaster, he doesn't appear poised to play in this game.
Neither does Bears backup Tyson Bagent, who is dealing with a concussion.
It's about to be the Case Keenum show against the Philadelphia Eagles.
As impressive as the Chicago Bears were in Week 1, scoring 59 points in a drubbing of the Carolina Panthers, that game is soon going to feel like it was a lifetime ago. The Bears scored 3 points in a weather-impacted loss against the Vikings in Week 2, and they're now poised to drop a second-straight game unless they can get some type of defensive masterclass and/or masterclass from Keenum.
The Eagles have not been the most impressive NFC contender so far this season. They barely beat the Commanders in Week 1 after achieving just 10 first downs as an offense. They had to come from behind against the Titans in Week 2.
Even though the Eagles are still a work in progress, this game against Chicago has a chance to be a get-right game for them. The oddsmakers are giving the Bears a boatload of respect, keeping the Eagles as just 4.5-point favorites in this game.
I think they blow the Bears out.
Prediction: Eagles win 34-16
