Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) @ Tennessee Titans (0-1)

Sunday, September 20, 1:00 PM ET

Based on what we saw from the Titans in Week 1, this might be one of the easiest game predictions of the week.

The Titans looked rough.

The debut of the Robert Saleh-led Titans left a lot to be desired. There was absolutely no explosiveness to the offense, the defense is still clearly a work in progress, and the Titans aren't nearly as far along as I thought they maybe could be. It was always contingent on Cam Ward's progression, which was more of an assumption than anything else.

And we'll see how Ward continues to progress this season, but even playing at home, we're talking about the Vic Fangio-led Eagles defense coming to town. This has disaster-class written all over it for the Titans.

The Eagles' defense dominated the Commanders for the majority of what ended up being a really close win in Week 1. And it actually came down to a 2-point play at the end of the game after a number of mistakes by the Commanders.

Still, even though the Eagles had their own struggles in Week 1, they beat a division rival despite just 10 first downs offensively. We saw a lot of explosives from that Eagles offense in Week 1, and all of the weapons were getting involved.

This is going to be a really difficult matchup for a reloading Titans team. If there's no explosive element to Tennessee's offense, that Fangio defense is going to eat Cam Ward alive.

The Eagles are 7-point favorites on the road early in the week, and even that feels a little conservative.

Prediction: Eagles win 28-13
