New Orleans Saints (0-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

Going into the 2026 season, most people have been expecting a big bounce-back year from the Baltimore Ravens, and they got off to a fast start against the Indianapolis Colts.
What we know about the Ravens at this point is that few teams are better around the NFL offensively when this team is right. Even with a rookie head coach, even with a first-time play-caller in Declan Doyle, it's not difficult to hand the ball off to Derrick Henry and just let him run all over defenses. It's what he's done better than most backs in the league for the majority of his NFL career.
The Ravens averaged 7.9 yards per play and had over 500 yards of total offense against the Colts in Week 1, so the Saints are going to have to be ready to buckle down.
After racking up 469 yards of offense themselves, the Saints might feel at least a little confident that they'll be able to hang with the Ravens if it comes to a shootout. Tyler Shough has the goods.
Shough looked a little lost early against the Lions, but after helping the team come back from a 21-0 deficit, nearly pulling off the game-winning drive in overtime, it's clear that the Saints have themselves a stud at the QB position.
Considering how well the Saints played against the Lions in Week 1, it's a little surprising to see that they are 8.5-point underdogs against the Ravens in Week 2. That seems like a pretty significant margin with a decent sample dating back to last season of the Saints' offense playing pretty well for Kellen Moore.
With New Orleans going on the road, I'm still taking the Ravens, but having them win by two or more scores isn't a limb I'm climbing out on this early in the season.
Prediction: Ravens win 30-23
