Los Angeles Rams (1-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)

It almost doesn’t feel real that the Los Angeles Rams, with all of the talent on that roster, could possibly be on the brink of starting 1-3 this season.
And while a 1-3 start is not a death sentence to their playoff chances (Texans were 0-3 to start last season before winning the AFC South), it’s certainly not a great place to be when you have the 49ers and Seahawks in your division as well.
The Rams played a great game – for the most part – against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. After getting out to a 16-0 lead, they let the Broncos come scraping and clawing back in the game, and simply couldn’t hold them off.
The environment in Philadelphia isn’t going to be any easier or more forgiving.
Unfortunately, that also holds true for the Eagles.
After escaping with wins in their first two games of the season, the Eagles were forced to come from behind against the Chicago Bears, and they failed miserably. That Philly fan base is going to be full of boo birds if they start to get run out of their own building by the Los Angeles Rams.
Given how the Eagles’ offense has played this season, I would say there’s a better chance of that happening than not.
The Rams are 2.5-point favorites on the road already, but after the Eagles’ embarrassing loss on the road to the Bears, playing the ticked-off Rams on a short week is not good news. It’s hard to see the Eagles getting blown out in consecutive games, but with the way that offense is playing, nothing is off the table.
Prediction: Rams win 34-23
